Happy New Year 2021
Happy New Year, and "Bye Bye Yesterday"... and yes, I wanted to make that reference for quite a while... just that good.
Now despite 2020 being absolute garbage, there were few decent things that it did give, including the reveal of Monster Hunter Rise, which I'm so looking forward to, and perhaps PSO2 New Genesis, once I get a new PC one day. Then there's shoutouts to Animal Crossing which helped me get through some days of boredom. So what am I looking forward to during 2021? I guess most of the same when it comes to my Pit/Samus ship at times (still waiting to inspire) and wanting to be creative, but Monster Hunter Rise is the big one. It's been so long since I've been excited for a new game this much, and just thinking that the game will be out in March, let alone a playable demo coming this month... of course I'm feeling cheerful about that! Just about 2 months away, and to think that it's been like 3 months since its official reveal. Time's flying fast it seems.
Anyways, we're finally out of the disaster that was 2020, but we're definitely not outta the woods yet considering the world stuff and pandemic still going on. As such, I'm still gonna be cautious, and I hope everyone will be safe as I hope 2021 will at least go in the right direction. Here's hoping everyone will be safe as well and we'll eventually be able to enjoy life normally again one day.
Pit / Samus Idea Pack 8: New Horizons
It's safe to say that it's been a few months since the release of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and I figured that for that reason and others, I decided to create some Pit/Samus ideas based on Animal Crossing things for that wholesome feel since we definitely could use some nice feels during these times. For this set, I'm mostly focusing on Spring and Summer-themed things in the game.
1: Cherry Blossoms/Trees/Plants
-Pit and Samus sitting under cherry blossom trees as they're watching cherry-blossom petals fly around em. For bonus points, both are wearing kimonos.
-Similar to above, except they're standing up and enjoying the view of the cherry blossom trees.
-Alternatively, the two are enjoying being around bamboo trees. Bonus points if they're wearing kimonos.
-Pit and Samus enjoying fruit from trees. The fruit in question include red apples, peaches, cherries, oranges, pears, or from palm trees, coconuts.
-Pit and Samus enjoying being around flowers, and may be watering them. If they're wearing flowers, Pit is likely to wear a Gold Rose crown while Samus may wear a blue windflower.
2: Pitfall Seed Prank
-Pit somehow made Samus fall into a pitfall trap that he placed. After escaping it, Samus chases Pit, and leads him into a pitfall trap of her own, which makes her laugh. This is an idea that can become a small comic or panel-type one.
3: Stargazing
-During a meteor shower, Pit and Samus are next to a telescope and wishing upon shooting stars at night. Casual or standard outfits recommended. There may be Rocket Lamps and telescopes nearby.
4: Summer Heat
-Pit and Samus exhausted from the heat and both are standing next to a fan outside. They may or may not be under a tree for shade.
-Alternatively, they're using a handheld fan to keep themselves cool or sitting under a tree for shade.
5: Critters
-Pit and Samus watching and listening to cicadas on trees.
-Pit catching a shark from the ocean as Samus tries to reel it in with her paralyzer. Optionally, Samus is the one catching it with said paralyzer while Pit is cheering her on.
The kind of shark in question is either a Great White Shark, a Whale Shark, or Hammerhead.
-Pit and Samus watching two beetles fight on a tree. The bugs that can be used are the Horned Elephant, Saw Stag, Miyama Stag, Giant Stag, Rainbow Stag, Cyclommatus Stag, Golden Stag, Giraffe Stag, Horned Dynastic, Horned Atlas, Horned Elephant, and Horned Hercules (which will always win).
-Pit and Samus watching butterflies together. This is most likely near flowers.
-Pit and Samus running from wasps. There's a chance that one or the other may attempt to catch a wasp with a net. The same situation can be applied to a tarantula or scorpion instead of a wasp.
6: Swimming
-Pit and Samus enjoying swimming together.
-They may be diving to have fun or look at (or catch) sea creatures, such as a sea star.
7: Dreaming
-Pit and Samus sleeping in different hammocks or sleeping bags. Pit is likely dreaming about food or being able to fly by himself.
8: Fireworks
-Pit and Samus enjoying watching fireworks at night. They can be standing or sitting down together. Bonus points if kimonos are being worn.
-Ideas featuring fun with fireworks, sparklers, tweeters, balloons, and/or pinwheels included.
9: Music
-Pit and Samus playing the Violin and Cello respectively near a stereo or DJ turntable. The latter can have like a concert-style vibe to it with floor lights (white for Pit, blue for Samus)
10: Other
-Pit using a slingshot to pop a balloon (with a present tied to it) with ease while Samus is watching.
-Pit and Samus watching cartoons or the news on TV.
-Pit watches Samus craft something on a DIY table.
-The two are shopping at the Cranny or Able Sisters.
-The two enjoying the beach side with beach towels/chairs. The items may be near palm trees for that extra island vibe.
-Pit and Samus enjoying the rain with umbrellas. Bonus points if wearing kimonos or rain outfits. To add to the idea, Samus may be shivering from the cold rain a bit, or if a lightning storm is happening, Pit is a tad nervous. They comfort each other depending on the situation.
-The two in the museum together, whether it be the bug area, aquarium, fossil, or art areas. -Both having fun playing the Nintendo Switch in a house (And yes, the Switch is also an item in the game).
-Both having a little fun taking snapshots/selfies together.
11: Reactions
-Pit and Samus trying different reactions from the game.
Pit's more likely to perform the pleased, happiness, joy, glee, laughter, love, flourish, encouraging, delight, worry, amazed, shocked, smirking, shyness, sleepy, dozing, and bashfulness reactions while Samus is more likely to perform the agreement, disagreement, joy, confident, amazed, bashfulness, sheepishness, smirking, resignation, worry, sighing, intense, and aggravation reactions. Some examples are below.
-Both Pit and Samus performing the Confident or Encouraging reaction to psych each other up for competition.
-Pit with the Dozing reaction while Samus with the Resignation reaction.
-Both performing the Glee or Joy reaction to show off that they're in a great mood.
-Both performing the Showmanship reaction on an area with concert vibes. Optionally, Samus with the Glee reaction (to make it like she's singing) while Pit uses Encouraging to cheer her on.
-Pit with the encouraging reaction while Samus is trying to catch a fish or shoot down a balloon with a slingshot.
-Samus with the Intense reaction while Pit is using the Worry reaction.
There's other activities that they can do in regards to the game, but I may not have the ideas now, or am burned out on ideas.
Because the game was released in March, I decided to focus on the Spring and Summer seasons. While technically you'd experience Fall and Winter if you selected Southern Hemisphere in the game, but not only am I Northern Hemisphere, it just feels better when things happen naturally. With that in mind, only the Spring and Summer-themed ideas are here. I hope I can do Fall and Winter in the future.
As for other announcements, here's some other things.
-August 6th is the Metroid anniversary.
-August 16th is my Birthday, not that it matters much.
So why am I posting this here in the first place instead of the group? I may be lazy and will post the ideas there later, but I feel that because of Eclipse, I think my ideas would not get as much interest or attention unless it was posted as a journal here as opposed to a journal in the group, and I really don't want all my ideas to go to waste. This is my largest idea batch atm after all. Similar reason to why I mentioned my Birthday, because of Eclipse removed that feature that the old layout had where it'll show you whose birthday is coming in 6-7 days ahead of time at the earliest.
All that aside, I hope my ideas could be of some inspiration at least, and remember to be safe during these times.
Happy New Year 2020 Thing
My resolutions?
-To finally inspire brilliant and proper Pit x Samus art at last (and maybe Pit/Phosphora too). As repetitive as it is, I've been at it for years, and I can't give up yet. As time goes by, I sometimes get new ideas, and I can't let it go to waste after all, same with the non-shipping ones. There's many reasons for this.
-To improve my social abilities and decrease the amount of timidity/sensitivity I have. This hopefully could make me a better person in general if I can accomplish this. As with my other resolution, I definitely don't expect this to happen right away, but even a bit of improvement at a time is better than nothing.
-To be less picky. While being picky has its perks, it's not idea when you're bored often and all. It could help me be more active, and well, if applied to food, I could explore new things.
-To be less lazy speaks for itself.
Now what do I expect or at least want from this year or at least this decade? Besides to make progress with my resolutions that is...
-New Kid Icarus game is pretty much obvious. Pit deserves a new game for how amazing he is.
-New Monster Hunter on Switch is something I've been looking forward to if it happens. This way I can play with more friends.
-Whenever PSO2 is coming to the west. It's said that it was coming in Spring this year, but I do want to try it. Of course this means I need a better computer as well.
-Just more things to make me happy. With few things bringing me joy, it's best I find new things to help me out.
-To obtain more constructive feedback on my creations. When I look back at some of my work, I get just silent faves/likes, many being deactivated members for some reason. It kinda makes me sad at times when I post some of my things and yet I don't really get no input at all, or know why the people like my stuff.
In the end, I just hope I can do more in general with a bit more courage and variety, and I'm looking forward to what the future will hold. Here's hoping the new years ahead will also be great for all of you.

AP's Wishlist 2019
1: Pit and Samus riding the Lightning Chariot together. The Lightning Chariot itself has been modified to be an Xmas sleigh that's being pulled by the two lightning chariot unicorns. Pit and Samus can wear Santa outfits to be more festive. Presents can be around for more Xmas cheer, and is optional.
2: Pit and Samus watching fireworks together at night.
-Bonus would be if both are wearing kimonos (well technically the male version is called a yukata) for a more festive style. The colors would be orange/blue and white (with some outer red) for Samus and Pit respectively to represent the colors they wear.
This is inspired by my Smash snapshot here:
3: Pit performing the Marnie smile (yes, the Pokemon character) to act silly, which puts a smile on Samus's face.
-Alternatively, Samus performs the smile instead, which makes Pit laugh. A "Watch this." quote from Samus could make this all the more adorable.
-Another alternative, Pit uses his fingers to make Samus perform the smile, likely to try to cheer her up. Both are having fun with this.
4: Pit and Samus doing the KIU Chapter 5 "hair flip and sparkles" rally cry moment side by side for fun. Sparkles accompany them both as well as them smiling/grinning.
This is for cute, fun, and silly factor.
5: Samus giving Pit a hug. This could either make him blush or smile.
-Optionally, Pit himself attempts a hug featuring him wrapping his wings around Samus. The soft embrace surprises her, and might make her blush.
6: A curious Samus with the power suit on (no helmet) curiously looks at Pit who is showing her the EZ Cannon. Arm Cannon Buddies.
7: A particular back and forth banter moment between Pit and Samus. It features Pit boasting about his thighs by using the "Have you seen these thighs?" quote from KIU, where Samus tried to show off while saying "Well have you seen 'these' thighs?". After staring at each other almost as if they were about to fight, they laugh it off and say that it's like old times.
This particular one is more of a multi-panel comic-like idea I had for a while that combines the quote from KIU and the fact that Samus got more muscular in Smash Ultimate, and made it a bit fun. The part can be found in my story here to get a better idea of it:
Reunion: A Pit/Samus Story
Pit had always been a great friend to the famous bounty hunter widely known as Samus Aran. What made him sad from time to time was the fact that she was always being called to go on many dangerous missions in space. He would usually never hear from her for long periods of time. The countless hours of waiting made him worry about her well-being.
It was only earlier today that he received a message from Samus. On the behalf that Pit could not read yet (at least not to her current knowledge—the truth was Pit had been recently learning how to read in secret so he could surprise her the next time they meet up), she’d improvised and left him a video message on his personal fountain.
The video message started with Samus appearing her Power Suit, minus the helmet.
"Hey, Pit. It's been a while, hasn't it?” she began. “I'm doing okay if you were wondering, so you don't have to worry.” She paused, then grinned. “I also have some more go
8: A My Hero Academia crossover, featuring Pit and Samus as Izuku and Momo respectively.
(I almost wanted to say short-haired Samus to be Uraraka instead. You think it'd work?)
9: Pit and Samus pose for a picture together. While Pit does his signature "victory" pose with a smile, Samus does her well-known single thumb up pose.
10: Pit and Samus having a snowball fight. The latter is in her Power Suit (no helmet) with her arm cannon being able to shoot snowballs. Pit himself will be using a modified EZ Cannon that can shoot snowballs.
-Optionally, Samus is in her Zero Suit, wearing a jacket and scarf.
11: Samus playfully ruffling Pit's hair. Both are grinning and having fun.
12: Samus experiences the Kid Icarus universe. Below are a few ideas based around this theme.
-Samus tries out Grind Rails along with Pit. She may or may not be used to it and might accidentally slip.
-Samus tries out one of many weapons. A customized orange EZ Cannon is most likely. A Fortune Bow, with Pit teaching her how to use it, is optional.
-Samus has her hair similar to Phosphora's. She attempts to imitate her to make Pit flustered, but also might make Samus feel a bit embarrassed herself.
-Pit and Samus have a laugh as Pit shows Samus a Cherubot and says that it's his power suit, a joke that references Samus' own power suit in a way.
13: Similar to a previous idea, Pit and Samus teaching each other some things. Pit tries to show and teach Samus how to use a bow while Samus teaches Pit some close-combat techniques (basically punches and kicks).
It's to note that my favorite Pit color is the gold one from Smash, but it's also optional.
I have much more ideas stored up actually, but I feel each of these stand out in a way to me. Feel free to ask questions if curious about details or something, or even other ideas. I hope I'm doing this right.
